Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what information Bolt collects through the bolt.io.vn website and Bolt tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Bolt makes small tools and utilities, starting with tools for YouTube creators. In this policy, "Bolt", "we" and "us" mean the team that runs bolt.io.vn. You can reach us at [email protected].

Information on this website

The bolt.io.vn website does not require an account. It does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers.

Like any website, our hosting provider may record technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and running, and are kept for a short period.

When you email us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply to you and, if you ask, to tell you when a tool launches. We do not add you to a mailing list without your request.

Information used by Bolt tools

Each Bolt tool tells you what data it needs and which account it connects to before it runs. A tool only accesses what is needed for the feature you choose to use.

  • Tools that connect to your Google or YouTube account may read information such as your channel, videos and playlists, and may create or update playlists when you ask them to.
  • Desktop tools store their settings, working data and sign-in tokens on your own device. We do not receive this data unless a tool clearly says it sends something and you agree.
  • We do not use data from your accounts for advertising, and we do not sell it.

YouTube API Services

Some Bolt tools use YouTube API Services. By using those tools you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) describes how Google handles your data.

You can revoke a Bolt tool's access to your Google account at any time from your Google security settings (myaccount.google.com/permissions).

Bolt's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy (developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers we need to run Bolt (such as hosting and email), and only as much as they need, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep emails for as long as we need them to handle your request. Data that desktop tools store on your device stays there until you delete it or uninstall the tool.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

Bolt is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we will make it clear on this page before it takes effect.
